Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the required academic and age qualifications to be considered for admission. Each course has specific prerequisites that must be fulfilled before applying.

Reservation Policy

Seats will be reserved as per the government norms for SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC/PH categories. Students claiming reserved category benefits must present valid and approved certificates.

Admission Procedure & Document Verification

Every applicant must appear in person with a duly filled application form, signed by their parents or guardians.

Admission is provisional until all required original documents are verified and accepted by the college.

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission include:

  • Transfer Certificate from the last attended institution (with two attested Xerox copies)

  • Original mark-sheets of qualifying exams (with two attested Xerox copies)

  • Validity certificate and documents for reserved category candidature

  • Certificate for candidates from other universities or boards

  • Recent passport-size photographs 

  • Demand Draft/Pay Order in favor of Principal, Prerna College for prescribed fees

  • Students are advised to retain sufficient attested copies of documents for future use as originals will be returned only after university eligibility processing.

Fee Payment & Refund Policy

  • Full course fees must be paid at the time of admission.
  • No installments will be permitted.
  • The fee structure prescribed by R.T.M. Nagpur University will be followed.
  • Refund of fees, if applicable, will be governed by AICTE/UGC norms only.

Code of Conduct

Students must adhere to the college’s discipline and attendance policies at all times.

Key Regulations:

  • Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory in each subject and practical to be eligible for exams.
  • Absence from class must be supported by a written application to the Principal.
  • Continuous absence without permission may lead to removal from the college.
  • No change of programme or subjects is allowed once admission is granted.
  • Use of mobile phones on campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Latecomers will not be allowed entry after gates are closed.
  • Students cannot leave the premises during class hours.
  • Consumption of betel nuts, tobacco, chewing gums, or any objectionable substances is not allowed.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any violations will be dealt with severely.
  • Damaging college property will invite penalties.
  • Carrying the college I-Card is mandatory for entry into the campus.
  • Students must secure their personal belongings; the college is not responsible for lost items.
  • Motor vehicles on campus require a valid R.T.O. license and helmet.
  • Any issues faced should be immediately reported to the Director/Principal.
